How it works
Know what is behind the number.
A useful estimate shows its assumptions, sources and gaps. Here is how to read a Lifovra calculation.
Local evidence
Compatible city prices and tariffs can support a market estimate. Each result retains its source and reference date.
A broader reference
Regional or national data are used only where the cost category allows it. They are labelled separately and do not become verified city prices.
A reference household
Groceries use a defined basket of food items and quantities. Utilities use a one-adult, 85 m² reference: 1,500 kWh of electricity and 36.5 m³ of water per year, with heating and waste separate. An incomplete basket is not a complete monthly bill.
Housing, with context
Rent depends on the property and area. Evidence-based estimates, approximate ranges and your own rent are distinguished. Your input helps your calculation; it does not increase city market coverage.
Coverage is not accuracy
Coverage tells you which required costs are available. Confidence also considers evidence quality, freshness and geographic fit. A budget reserve is a planning choice, not an observed price.
Open the details
Expand a result to inspect sources, dates and assumptions. Compare the known costs and check missing categories before making a decision.
